Alderburgh Museum
and Moot Hall

We provided strategic planning and development consultancy to Alderburgh Town Council, and Alderburgh Museum in the town’s historic Moot Hall, one of the most important timber-framed public buildings in England. 

Successfully achieving £800,000 Heritage Lottery funding, the scheme proposed reinvigorating the Museum with a wholesale redisplay and reinterpretation of the collections, including internal reconfiguration of the 16th Century Grade 1 listed building, with plans developed in liaison with English Heritage.
